Lisa has worked on projects funded by ESRC, EPSRC, the Environment Agency, Government Offices, the Home Office, DEFRA, and Community Safety Partnerships. In recent years her work has helped to shape the professionalization agenda for the UK police, and the infrastructure underpinning this sea-change. Her team won a Chief Constable’s commendation in 2015 for their contribution to the UK’s What Works Centre for Crime Reduction and she regularly advises academic groups and practitioners on evaluation science principles. She has published regularly in high impact journals such as Experimental Criminology, Justice Quarterly and the Journal of Research in Crime and Delinquency.
