Miranda Stearn is the Head of Learning at the Fitzwilliam Museum, part of the University of Cambridge Museums group, where she leads teams which encourage the public to engage with Cambridge museums through projects and learning programmes. Along with working with schools and other education groups, the Learning department also develops programs for disability groups and carers, encouraging people who would not normally have access to museums to visit, and supporting well-being across a broader range of people.

Miranda holds a PhD and an MA in History of Art, both from the Courtauld Institute of Art, and a BA in History of Art from the University of Cambridge. She also has a City & Guilds Level 4 in Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector. She worked in several heritage roles for Richmond Borough Council, before joining Heritage Lottery Fund as a Learning and Volunteering Policy Advisor. She is also a former board member of the London Museums Group.
