Paul is a career civil servant with experience working across a number of government departments. He has worked on international security policy for the Ministry of Defence, overseeing the UK’s military contributions to peacekeeping missions in the Western Balkans and has also served as a diplomat at the British Embassy in Albania and the British Consulate General in Jerusalem. Most recently, Paul worked on the UK’s EU exit negotiations and supporting no deal planning across food and farming related policy.
