Based in London, Tim Cooper is currently the Global Director of Marketing and Communications for ERM, the world's largest pureplay sustainability consultancy. In this role I'm responsible for building a world-class function and developing a strategic roadmap that enhances ERM's reputation and drives growth.
Prior to ERM, Tim worked as Global Head of Strategic Communications at Dentsu International.
Previously, Tim was a senior manager at the Accenture Institute for High Performance, where he led research programmes focusing on the intersection of business and public policy, in particular the impact of digital technology, new models of public service delivery and cross-sector collaboration.
Tim’s work has been widely published and featured in leading media, including the Financial Times and Wall Street Journal, as well as respected management journals. As a strategy consultant specialising in scenario planning and the impact of global trends on long-term corporate strategy, he has also delivered projects for clients in central government and the utilities sector.
Prior to Accenture, Tim worked as a civil servant in the UK Treasury and Ministry of Defence, advising ministers on a range of high-profile policy issues including departmental budgets, military operations and freedom of information.
Tim holds a BA (Hons) in English Literature from the University of York and a master’s degree in Public Administration from the John F. Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University. He has also undertaken scenario planning executive education at Saȉd Business School, Oxford.
