The Cambridge Earth System Science DTP is running workshops in March 2015, aiming to bring postdocs and early career researchers in Earth and Environmental Science together with policy makers and industry.

Big data to solutions workshops, 11 and 16 March

Two events in March offer a unique opportunity to learn about key environmental risks, to test your thinking on these issues and to engage with other stakeholders on these challenges.

These NERC-funded workshops will bring PhD students and postdocs in Earth and Environmental Science together with industry and policy makers to explore how data can be used to support solutions to environmental dilemmas.

Both days will provide expert presentations, facilitated roundtable discussion, working group sessions and opportunities for networking. Speakers include Tony Juniper (environmentalist and writer) and James Stacey (Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership).
