Secrets behind the Cambridge Phenomenon: Good fortune or outstanding strategy?

Date & Time: 17:15, 25th April

Venue: TBC

The UK has long been a world-leader for innovation in Life Sciences, with an impressive track-record for the development of innovative drugs and technologies. However, to remain ahead of the race, it will be essential for the UK to adapt its Life Science Strategy to the rapidly changing markets. Taking the Cambridge Life Science Cluster as an example, known worldwide to be one of the most successful clusters of its kind, we will investigate the following questions in greater depth:

1. Which lessons can we learn from the Cambridge Life Science Cluster, has there always been a strong strategy in place?

2. Which role should Government, Industry and Academia play to promote innovation, entrepreneurship and academic excellence in order to maintain a world-leading Life Science Industry?

The speakers will include Professor Sir John Bell, Harriet Fear, Chris Green and Derek Jones. To sign up for this event please click here.
