Head of Academic Practice Group, Personal and Professional Development, University of Cambridge

Meg is Head of the Academic Practice Group, a team within Cambridge University's Personal and Professional Development section. The Academic Practice Group runs workshops, seminars and training sessions that help academics, research staff and PhD students develop skills needed to fulfil the responsibilities of the University.

As Head of the group, Meg guides the team through their work with academic and research staff and doctoral students. She runs the Teaching Associates Programme, which introduces early career researchers to teaching in a higher education setting.

Meg is closely involved with the University’s new Centre for Teaching and Learning and is course director of the new Postgraduate Certificate in Teaching and Learning in Higher Education.
