MyungSoo CHO is a Strategic Planning, Monitoring & Partnership expert with 20 years of substantial professional experience in public and private sector organizations such as UNICEF, UNDP, Korean Mission to the UN, Dell, and Samsung in Asia, Europe, and the USA. He currently leads strategic planning, monitoring, financing, and partnership portfolios for the UNICEF’s global HIV/AIDS programme in New York HQ office since 2017, manage planning and monitoring work for the Covid-19 vaccine delivery to low and low-middle income countries. He worked as the Medical Supply Unit head and Planning specialist for the Vaccine Center in UNICEF Supply Division in Copenhagen for about nine years. He also served as a programme officer for the development assistance system management & private sector partnership in UNDP Viet Nam. Prior to joining the UN system, he worked for Samsung Electronics HQ in Seoul and Dell Asia-Pacific head office in Shanghai as a marketing & business manager.
He holds his MSc in Health Economics & Policy from the London School of Economics and Political Science and an MA in International Commerce from Korea University.
