Lauren has supported academics to develop their policy impact activities, including Policy Workshops, at the Centre for Science and Policy (CSaP) since 2019. She is part of the secretariat for the Cambridge Zero Policy Forum, a multidisciplinary community of academics contributing evidence and expertise to public policy making for the transition to a sustainable, inclusive, and resilient net zero society.

She previously worked as a Policy Coordinator in public health at the University. She has also worked in crisis communications and lobbying in London, primarily within the health and social care sectors.

Lauren holds a degree in law from the University of Cambridge and a degree in French and English Literature from the University of British Columbia.

    The University of Cambridge Vice-Chancellor's Lecture was held on 01 March 2022 and was delivered online by Dr Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, Director-General, World Health Organization. The lecture series, which engages partners from CEENRG and CSAP as well as CISDL and others, is driven by the urgency to inspire and innovate the world’s best and brightest minds.
