Research Group Director, RAND Europe

Dr Emma Disley is a Research Group Director at RAND Europe, working primarily on the Communities, Safety and Justice team. Prior to joining RAND, Dr Disley worked as a researcher at Thames Valley Police, the National Policing Improvement Agency, and at the Centre for Criminology at the University of Oxford. Her research interests span a variety of topics relating to crime and criminal justice, including policing, offender management and interventions, imprisonment, and criminal justice policy.

She has a Ph.D. and M.Sc. in criminology from the University of Oxford, and an L.L.B. in law from the University of Manchester.
