Deputy Director, National University Health System, Singapore

Dr Adriana Banozic-Tang moved to Singapore as Deputy Director of the National University Health System in June 2020. Previously, she worked at the Future Resilient Systems programme of ETH Zurich University as a Science Policy Expert in April 2019. Before joining FRS, Adriana was a Science Manager with Agency for Science Technology and Research and part of an interdisciplinary group developing advanced behavioural and social computing solutions for Singapore public sector.
Adriana is a trained neuroscientist and psychologist and holds executive training in public policy. She has worked on various scales as a researcher and consultant in Zagreb, Gothenburg, Leuven and Tokyo, and has taught at Tokyo Tech, Japan. She has started her career in UNDP and since than supported science policy interface initiatives through collaborative work with UNESCO Science Policy and Capacity Building Division and INGSA (Intergovernmental Network for Government Science Advice). Most recently Adriana has actively supported the work United Nations University- CRIS Bruges EU-ASEAN S&T cooperation with a strong emphasis on the JCR science policy work as well as COST (ASEAN committee of Science and Technology).
