Dr Alexander Rodnyansky is an Assistant Professor of Economics at the University of Cambridge (on public service leave since 2020). He is currently an advisor to the President of Ukraine and was the chief economic adviser to the Prime Minister of Ukraine (2019-2020). Alexander is also a research affiliate of the Centre for Economic Policy Research (CEPR) and a member of the Centre For Macroeconomics (CFM).
Alexander received his Ph.D. from Princeton University in May 2017 and joined Cambridge shortly thereafter. He was named by the World Economic Forum as one of their Young Global Leaders Class of 2024.
