Amanda was Chief Analyst at the Department for Transport. She was responsible for assessing the value for money of DfT’s decisions; producing appraisal guidance for all UK public investment in transport; and advising on other DfT policy decisions.
She was previously Chief Economist at the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills; the Department for Work and Pensions, the Competition Commission and the Office for National Statistics, as well as doing some policy roles. She has also held several non-executive positions in charities and public bodies.
