VP Europe at Carbon Engineering

Dr Amy Ruddock is VP Europe at Carbon Engineering. Prior to Carbon Engineering, Amy was VP Corporate Development and Sustainability at Virgin Atlantic where she was accountable for setting and delivering carbon strategy, securing expansion at London’s Heathrow Airport, corporate strategy and government affairs. In 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic she co-led recapitalization and solvent restructuring of the airline. Amy previously spent 10 years at BCG in the Consumer Practice Area, leading projects on topics ranging from strategy to transformation; operations to commercial, working across Europe and the USA.

Amy’s Ph.D. from the University of Cambridge “Novel sensors for the selective detection of hydrocarbons” combined the disciplines of solid-state electrochemistry, materials and surface science.
