UKRI Future Leaders Fellow, Centre for the Future of Intelligence

Beryl Pong is a UKRI Future Leaders Fellow at the Centre for the Future of Intelligence (CFI) and the Institute for Technology and Humanity (ITH). She directs the Centre for Drones and Culture, which examines the ethics and aesthetics of drone use in art, war, humanitarianism, and the study of the environment. She holds affiliated positions with Trinity College and the Faculty of English at Cambridge, and with the National University of Singapore. Beryl's interdisciplinary work focuses on AI ethics from the perspective of the humanities and social sciences. She works with NGOs, museums, and creative partners on how to tell nuanced stories about emerging technologies.
