Teaching Associate, Faculty of Education, University of Cambridge
Dr Bethan Morgan is a Teaching Associate in the Faculty of Education at the University of Cambridge, where she works with the School University Partnership in Educational Research (SUPER). She also lectures and supervises on various masters programmes. Her research focuses on classroom teaching and learning, including pupil engagement and pupil consultation. She is also interested in the use of social media and online communities to support teaching and learning.
Prior to joining the faculty, she taught for seventeen years in 11-18 secondary schools in the UK and the UAE as teacher and Head of Department (English). Both her MPhil and ESRC funded PhD projects were linked to the ESRC/TLRP Consulting Pupils about Teaching and Learning Network (directed by the late Professor Jean Rudduck). Data from both projects is featured in Rudduck, J & McIntyre, D (2007) Improving Learning through Consulting Pupils, London: Routledge.
