Coco Newton is a cognitive neuroscientist with a background in the basic neuroscience of human wayfinding/navigation, and applying this understanding to design new cognitive assessments for earlier Alzheimer's disease detection. By way of a Schmidt Science Fellowship, she is now transitioning into health design and systems engineering research jointly between TU Delft Faculty of Industrial Design Engineering and University of Cambridge Engineering Design Centre, with a specific focus on implementation of new digital cognitive assessment tools for improving Alzheimer's disease clinical decision making.
