Isabela Parisio is a New York State Bar-qualified lawyer, with an international legal background and expertise in public law and AI policy. Currently, she serves as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at King’s College London, contributing to AI policy and regulation discussions as part of Responsible Ai UK (RAi UK).
Isabela recently completed a year-long Optional Practical Training (OPT) in the United States, where she worked as a policy analyst at Johns Hopkins University within the Office of the President. She holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from Georgetown University Law Center (2023), during which she interned at the Center for AI and Digital Policy, further expanding her knowledge in emerging technology regulation.
With over six years of professional experience in academia and the private sector, Isabela has developed a strong focus on Public and Administrative Law, as well as Regulatory Policy. She also holds a Master’s in Law & Development from FGV DIREITO SP in Brazil (2022). Her thesis, ‘Reviewing the Interpretation of Article 37 of the Brazilian Federal Constitution: Legal Solutions on Human Resources Management for the Municipality of São Paulo’ (2022), underscores her dedication to empirical research and legal reform.
In Brazil, Isabela collaborated with key organizations such as the Brazilian Society of Public Law, the Lemann Foundation, República.org, and WWF Brasil, where she supported initiatives focused on Brazilian administrative reforms.
