Jane is a distinguished biophysical chemist known internationally for her groundbreaking research on protein folding and interactions. Despite starting her PhD at the age of 40 after teaching in London schools, she quickly rose to prominence, becoming a Wellcome Trust Research Fellow at the University of Cambridge. Her contributions to science have earned her numerous accolades, including Fellowships from prestigious organizations such as the National Academy of Medical Sciences and the Royal Society. Jane is renowned for her leadership in managing diverse research teams and promoting diversity and inclusion in education and science.
