CAPE Policy Fellow

Jon Lloyd (Assistant Director for Strategy and Design, London Borough of Waltham Forest) is a current CAPE fellow, and we are trialling a method where he will be bringing colleagues on his day of meetings in Cambridge. Jon Lloyd has worked in several London councils in senior Strategy roles. Further back, he has worked on innovative approaches to tackle homelessness, from Cardboard Citizens Forum theatre work to the development of peer-led housing service in London prisons. Jon is currently leading a broad portfolio of work including Waltham Forest’s Hate Incidence Citizen Assembly, community engagement concerning Covid, and implementing an ambitious approach to tackle inequality.  Jon has studied at SOAS and the London School of Economics and has remained passionate about research. He is an RSA Fellow.
