Louis is currently the Director of Policy and Public Affairs at the Publishers Association. Prior to this, he was a Senior Policy Adviser in the Open Innovation Team (HMG), supporting clients across Whitehall with urgent policy projects, and delivering training to universities on how to achieve impact.

Louis is passionate about improving policy with evidence and expertise. His career includes working with the the UK government’s Open Innovation Team, the Secretary of State for Education’s private office, University College London, London Metropolitan University, SAGE Publications, Wonkhe, Reform, National Foundation for Educational Research, Taylor & Francis, the Careers & Enterprise Company, Edge from the National Association of Head Teachers, Pearson, the Higher Education Academy, the Teacher Training Agency, the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister, for a cabinet minister and a Member of Parliament.

Louis is currently a Trustee at the University of Worcester and a Tower Hamlets school. He was previously a school governor and chair in Hackney, and chair of a students’ union.
