Professor of Theoretical Physics & EPSRC Senior Research Fellow, Department of Physics, University of Cambridge
Professor Mark Warner is Professor of Theoretical Physics & EPSRC Senior Research Fellow in the Department of Physics at the University of Cambridge. He is one of the founders of the field of liquid crystal elastomers, which has yielded many exotic phenomena that are now confirmed experimentally. For this he received a Maxwell Medal and Prize and a von Humboldt Research Prize. In 2003 Prof Warner was awarded the Agilent Technology Prize by the European Physical Society.
