Michael Davies is currently Deputy Director for Early Years Markets, Strategy & Workforce in the Department for Education. His previous posts in DfE have included Deputy Director for Selective Education, T Level Development and SEND Reform. Outside DfE He had also held roles as the lead for Public Services in EDS, a range of policy and strategy roles in the Department for Health and Social Care, and as Deputy Director for Children's Community Services in NHS England. Michael has an MA in History from Cambridge University and an MSc in Health Policy from Imperial College London.
