After completing his PhD in Physics at Cambridge, Philipp started working at the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research in Germany, where he conducts academic research and provides policy advice in the context of energy systems and climate change. Philipp previously worked for the Sortition Foundation, where he helped establish the first citizens' assembly in the Greater Cambridge area on traffic and congestion together with the Greater Cambridge Partnership. He has also founded a charity in Germany that promotes the use of citizens' assemblies on the German federal level.
