Dr Pierre Josso is a senior Geoscientist at the British Geological Survey and Deputy Director of the UK Critical Minerals Intelligence Centre. Pierre works on developing and improving our understanding of critical minerals supply chains, from rock to manufactured good and the circular economy, providing evidence-based information to government to inform future policy. With a specialisation in mineral exploration, he works extensively on development and application of machine learning algorithms for prospectivity analysis and on characterising the resource and environmental impact of deep-sea mineral extractive activities.
