ALEXANDER ASTOLA FUGL
Head of Division, Ministry of Business, Industry and Financial Affairs
Alexander works as head of office at the Danish Ministry of Business, Industry and Financial Affairs. His department works with green industrial policy, specializing in the wind industry, power-to-X, and carbon capture and storage. For example, the recent launch of a green investment scheme, which supports the establishments of e.g. wind turbine factories and factories for electrolysis machinery. Alexander’s role involves developing policies that promote growth and job creation nationally as well as leading the team in a time where policies on green industry are changing globally.


INGEBORG DUE KOLIND
Green food artisan and former Global Climate and Nature Lead at Novo Nordisk, Copenhagen Hospitality College
Ingeborg studies green gastronomy and plant-based cuisine at Northern Europe’s largest vocational college within the hospitality industry, with the ambition to contribute to more sustainable food systems and diets. Ingeborg has previously been Global climate and biodiversity lead at Novo Nordisk, one of the most valuable companies in the world. Her focus was to strategy development according to Novo Nordisk's goal of being ‘net zero’ by 2045 as well as strategy development for nature and biodiversity.

LARS BEER NIELSEN
Head of Division, The Danish Ministry of Climate, Energy and Utilities
Lars is head of division in the Centre for Strategy, Communication and Executive management secretariat. The centre works to ensure alignment between strategy, communication, press and policy as well as assisting the minister and management in the Danish Ministry of Climate, Energy and Utilities.


LINDA HØIBYE
Climate Change Director, Investment Fund for Developing Countries
The Investment Fund for Developing Countries (IFU) is an independent, government-owned investment fund that works on a commercial basis by offering risk capital to businesses in developing countries that contribute to the green transition and economic and social development. Fiona works with evaluating the investments’ environmental impact as well as the fund’s overall strategy for achieving net zero. She is responsible for creating a tactical plan for the execution of this strategy and supports her colleagues in developing requirements to ensure that companies follow the objectives of the Paris Agreement.

MARIE VOLDBY
Partner, Deloitte
Deloitte is Denmark’s and the world’s largest auditing and consultancy company. As a partner, Marie consults businesses, funds and other organisations about social and environmental sustainability (ESG) with a focus on policy and market expectations. She has worked with a wide range of the largest private and state-owned companies in Denmark on best practice in environmental and social sustainability, ethics, and corporate social responsibility.

MATHIAS FINDALEN BICKERSTETH
Programme Manager,Tuborg Foundation
The Tuborg Foundation is a philanthropic foundation, which aims to support opportunities for youth to influence and engage with a hopeful and sustainable future. Mathias is programme lead on the foundation’s strategic work on democracy and youth participation. He sees a real risk in too many young people turning their back on political processes in Parliament as they are increasingly outnumbered in a democracy with more and more older voices. At worst, this could lead to a stagnation of political mobility and societal development. The climate struggle and the green transition may be a common ground for the youth to unite for a better, stronger and healthier future.

METTE KIRSTINE SCHMIDT
Policy and International Director, Hydrogen Denmark
Hydrogen Denmark is an industry association, which represents all Danish stakeholders in the field of hydrogen, Power-to-X, and fuel cells. Mette is responsible for public affairs in relation to frame conditions in the sector as well as international engagements. Specifically, this involves listening to the industry's needs and communicating them to decision-makers; keeping up with various political processes (e.g. on infrastructure, implementation of green funds, strategies, etc.); working to disseminate information about the industry's development; and following energy and industrial policy processes and discussions in the EU.


THOMAS HEBSGAARD
Journalist, Zetland
Zetland is a digital publication dedicated to journalism as a force for good that promotes public conversations motivated by insight and curiosity. Thomas is responsible for covering stories on climate, energy, and environment and he is also the author of the book 'If we act now – The surprisingly simple steps we can take to avoid the worst of climate crisis’. He has written and produced audio segments on topics ranging from climate science, climate policy, and planetary boundaries to energy, sustainable food production, green growth, green economy, green calculation models among many other topics.
