The Danish Ministry of Digital Affairs’ purview ranges from digital business interests to digitalising state services and accelerating the green transition. Amalie works on developing science-based policy on digitalisation as well as on cross-ministerial and EU matters. She has, among other projects, contributed to incorporating the precautionary principle into the previous and partly the current government's approach to online child protection.
CHRISTINA DAHL JENSEN
Team Leader & Senior Innovation Advisor specialising in tech solutions, DanChurchAid
DanChurchAid is a faith-based and humanitarian organisation working in development, humanitarian assistance, and advocacy as a part of the international ACT Alliance. Christina works with policy processes on innovation and new technologies relevant to the work of DanChurchAid, and her team advises on topics such surveillance in humanitarian aid, anti-terror financing, anti-terror AI-driven screening mechanisms, cyber security for human rights defenders, tech and human rights, as well as technologically facilitated gender-based violence. She is also the co-founder of an international action coalition about content moderation for women human rights defenders.
JANE GLINDVAD KRISTENSEN
Head of Division, The Danish Energy Agency
The Danish Energy Agency is an agency under the Danish Ministry of Climate, Energy and Utilities responsible for both green transition and a reliable utility sector. Jane’s work includes developing national regulations and implementing EU regulations in the gas sector. Her primary goals are to ensure a transition to green gas in non-electrifiable industries, to create a decentralised biogas production that reduces dependency on gas imports, and to ensure resilience in the gas sector should a crisis occur.
JOHAN WOGENSEN BACH
Team leader for the MENA region, International Media Support
International Media Support works to ensure fact-based, publicly accessible information by supporting independent media and digital human rights organisations. As team leader for the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) regional office, Johan supports journalistic initiatives and uses new technologies to promote democratic values. He has for example worked on the development of an AI tool in Egypt and Jordan for the effective and automated monitoring and identification of online gender-based hate speech.
KRISTINE HELEN FALGREN
Director of the Danish Quantum Community, Quantum Community
Danish Quantum Cummunity is non-profit and non-political organisation, that bring together all quantum stakeholders in Denmark with the purpose of building a unified ecosystem and strengthening Denmark’s efforts in quantum research and quantum technologies. Kristine works with the development of Danish policies on quantum technology, to strengthen the conditions for innovation of quantum technology.
MARIE HVID DAMBORG
Head of Digitalisation, The Technical and Environmental Administration, Copenhagen Municipality
The Technical and Environmental Administration's areas of responsibility cover city operations, construction projects, regulatory processing and city development among others. Marie leads on strategy, development and operations in the digital division, which consists of 65 employees over four units. Tasks in the area include IT project management, information security in relation to the system portfolio, GDPR, agile development and operation of cross-cutting applications, data governance, LIS and data solutions.
MIKKEL RUESKOV GULDBERG
Head of Division, Ministry of Industry, Business, and Financial Affairs
The Ministry of Industry, Business, and Financial Affairs creates the framework for private companies to contribute to solving societal challenges, such as climate change and labour shortages. Mikkel is responsible for the Public Procurement and Competition Act in collaboration with the Danish Competition and Consumer Authority. He works with procurement, competition, public-private co-operation and new technologies such as quantum technology and artificial intelligence. He also works with the implementation of the government's national strategy for quantum technology and contributes to the development of Denmark's position in the global technological race.
THORKILD KRISTIANSEN
Head of Division, Ministry of Digital Affairs
Thorkild is head of the business-oriented office at the Ministry of Digitalisation, where he worka with all aspects of digitalisation in the business sector. From smallest companies that need to digitalise their accounting and order systems, to the conditions for the most innovative companies' use of new technology, all the way to how we can regulate the tech giants. Among other things, he is working to promote and regulate artificial intelligence in Denmark, including the implementation of the AI regulation.

The Danish Consumer Council is the only independent voice of all consumers in Denmark with the mission to strengthen consumer empowerment through expertise, advocacy and research. Uffe is responsible for advocacy and public affairs related to the digital area such as digital consumer rights, data protection and ethics, digital fraud, artificial intelligence, digital marketing, digital payment systems, etc.
