Dr Rebecca Smith's work focuses on evidence-based conservation. As manager of the Conservation Evidence project, Rebecca oversee the collation of global evidence of the effectiveness of actions for habitats and species, to ensure the evidence is easily accessible to those who need it. The team works with practitioners, policy makers, funders and others to co-design tools, processes and resources to embed and generate evidence to improve decision making for more effective conservation practice.
