Senior Policy Advisor, Royal Academy of Engineering (RAE)

Richard Ploszek joined the Royal Academy of Engineering in 2000 as a Policy Advisory, becoming Senior Policy Advisory in 2009. In addition to his current role he is also Interdependancies Lead, Infrastructure UK at HM Treasury.

In 1993 Richard Ploszek completed his undergraduate degree in Aeronautical Engineering from Queen Mary’s, University of London. In the same year he completed a three month project as Deputy Airshow Manager of the Flight Business and Light Aviation Show, before becoming Strategic Projects Manager at the Royal Aeronautical Society until 2000.

Between 1986 and 1991, he held the position of Broker at Steward Wrightson International Group and later N.H.K (Aviation) Ltd.
