Robert Morgan is Head of Sustainable Development in the Welsh Government. His role involves working with Ministers and officials across Welsh Government and with local, national, and international stakeholders to drive forward the Welsh Government’s ambitions under the Well-being of Future Generations Act.

Prior to joining Welsh Government, he was a Civil Service Fast Streamer, working in Private Office in HMRC, as a Policy Manager for European Negotiations, as a Budget Policy Adviser, and as part of the team responsible for the Welsh Government’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Robert holds a first-class bachelor’s degree in Modern Languages and European Studies from the University of Bath and a master’s degree in European Studies form Maastricht University.
