Sanjay Raja is an economist, with a primary focus on investigating regional economic policy impacts in the United Kingdom. His recent research has focussed on UK City Deals, regional devolution and regional growth policy initiatives undertaken over the last decade. Sanjay is a Chartered Financial Analyst and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts. Away from academia, Sanjay is the Chief UK Economist at Deutsche Bank, having previously worked in consultancy (KPMG) and the public sector (Ofcom, National Audit Office).
