Sarah is the Deputy Director for Circular Economy Evidence and Analysis within Defra. She leads a multidisciplinary team to deliver high quality evidence and analysis that underpins policy and delivery to support the move to a circular economy. She has been in Defra for almost 20 years holding a wide variety of evidence and policy roles working on areas such as forestry, national parks, fisheries. Sarah's previous role was setting the first set of statutory environmental targets for England outside the EU.
