Siobhán Sheridan started her working life at the age of 16 with NatWest Bank, where she worked for twelve years before joining Capital One in Nottingham in 1999. Her work there took her to live and work in the US and developing businesses in many other parts of Europe. In 2007, she joined the UK Civil Service as the Human Resources Director for Defra before moving on to join DWP as HR Director for JobCentre Plus. Following her experience as a volunteer and trustee working with people who are experiencing homelessness, in 2013 she became the Director of People and Organisational Development for the NSPCC.

In 2017, she was voted the ‘HR Most Influential’ Director by HR magazine as she moved to her current role as HR Director for the Ministry of Defence. In this role, she is responsible for the 57000 Civil Servants who support the MODs role - both as a Department of State and a Military Headquarters - and also for inclusion and diversity strategy across the whole force.

Having become a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (FCIPD), Siobhán went on to secure two Masters degrees in Coaching and Organisational Change and is currently studying for her PhD focusing on AI, Robotics and Humans in the workplace.
