Dr Susanna Sällström-Matthews is Director of Studies in Economics at St John's College Cambridge. Her research interests focus on: Product differentiation; fashion; human capital; technological progress; and cultural economics.

She did her undergraduate degree and PhD in Economics at the Stockholm School of Economics, before coming to Cambridge to do her Master's. She has previously worked as a Member of the Council for Research Issues at the Swedish Competition Authority, and as a Stanley Smith Research Fellow at the University of St Andrews.
