Director of Studies (Natural Sciences), Pembroke College Cambridge

Dr Warren Galloway is the Director of Studies for Natural Sciences (Chemistry) at Pembroke College and a member of the Department of Chemistry at the University of Cambridge. His research interests focus on the use of organic synthesis to make new biologically active small molecules that can be used to understand and exploit biological systems.

His current topics of interest include: (i) the use of diversity-oriented synthesis to discover new antibacterial agents; (ii) the disruption of bacterial intercellular signalling (quorum sensing) as a novel strategy to treat bacterial infections; (iii) the design and synthesis of new small molecule modulators of protein-protein interactions and their use as anti-cancer agents.
