William Tunstall-Pedoe is the founder and CEO of Unlikely AI - a well-funded seed stage start-up working on safe, trustworthy and capable general AI. He is best known for his first voice-assistant startup Evi which was acquired by Amazon and was then a key member of the team that defined, built and launched Alexa. He left in 2016. He has mentored hundreds of other deep tech startups for the Creative Destruction Lab and as a member of Cambridge Angels where he is an active investor with approximately 100 angel investments. William also wrote the AI software that created the anagrams in the Da Vinci Code novel and movie and once got lots of press for calculating that April 11th 1954 was the most boring day in history.
