Xi Li worked on HyperVault (a flexible, decentralised access-control system that allows for granular control of permissions and smart sharing features), initially as a Hackbridge project and subsequently as a startup, while studying Mathematics at Cambridge.

Xi Li also worked as a researcher on a polymer waveguide for applications in non-linear quantum optics at the Centre for Quantum Technologies.
