Founded in May 2006 and launched in October 2006, the Cambridge University United Nations Association (CUUNA) is student-led and open to all. We currently number over 1300 members and associates.
CUUNA aims to spread the spirit of the United Nations (UN) within the University of Cambridge and youth in the local community by promoting a greater understanding of the roles, functions and potential of the UN, its Charter and its agencies with special attention to the Millennium Development Goals. By serving as a forum to explore and discuss these issues, we are uniquely placed to provide numerous opportunities to meet with UN personnel and other distinguished speakers, to participate in campaigns and charity events, Model United Nations and academic trips and to obtain assistance with internships and future career paths. We also publish our own UN Student.
