Independent Consultant: ICT and Education at Teachers Without Borders

After several years at UNESCO, Dr. Draxler works with private and public sector clients on ICT for education and educational sector planning and management. She is Vice-President of the Association for the Promotion of Education, a small non-profit development group working with donors to education, principally in Africa.

Dr. Draxler’s recent work includes studies for clients on donor policies relating to teachers, education portals, and public-private partnerships. This work has resulted in publications on ICT policies, web portals, public/private partnerships. She has focused on multistakeholder partnerships for education, UNESCO-sponsored analytical overview of literature, programmes, and oversight.

    CSaP is hosting a discussion programme in front of a live audience, for the BBC World Service Forum programme, which takes place at 6pm on 24 September at Murray Edwards College in Cambridge – the first time the Forum has been hosted at the University.
