Amanda Farnsworth is a senior executive who has held some of the most high profile leadership roles in the BBC including Editor of the TV One and Six O Clock News, Deputy Editor, Newsnight and Bureau Chief in Washington DC.

Amanda is currently Head of Visual and Data Journalism at BBC News bringing together TV across all domestic and global outlets with the high end multimedia interactive projects online within News. She has recently been appointed to lead a new project to increase the range and impact of Data Journalism and the better use of statistics across BBC News.
