CSaP Policy Intern (April – July 2021)

Camilla joined CSaP in April 2021 for a 3-month internship.

She is studying for a PhD in Environmental Analytical Chemistry at the University of Aberdeen. Her work explores the occurrence of trace elements in nail samples of participants of the Bangladesh Risk of Acute Vascular Events (BRAVE) study, a hospital-based case-control study led by the University of Cambridge, with the aim of determining how exposure to trace elements might contribute to high rates of heart disease in Bangladesh.

She holds a BSc (Hons) in Chemistry from the University of Aberdeen.

    The Centre for Science and Policy is collaborating with the Berlin Center for Global Engagement of the Berlin University Alliance to organise a talk which will be delivered by Dr Jan Marco Müller – a former CSaP Policy Fellow, and the current Science & Technology Advisor in the European External Action Service (EEAS).
