Careers Consultant, Careers Service, University of Cambridge

Catherine Alexander is a Careers Consultant at the University of Cambridge. Catherine has been working at the Careers Service of the University for over 16 years where she provides careers advice, guidance and training for undergraduates, postgraduates and alumni across all disciplines. As a lead careers adviser on disability, she is particulalry specialised in supporting clients with disability and long term illness with the transition into work and from there to navigate their careers.

Prior to joining Cambridge University, Catherine was working at the Cambridge City Council as an Arts Development Manager managing cultural activities in the city.

Catherine gets a lot of satisfaction from helping younger clients with their first steps in self awareness, skills development and presentation around career choice and career planning.
