Director of Alumni Engagement, University of Cambridge Development and Alumni Relations

Clare leads the University of Cambridge’s alumni engagement programme, responsible for building the global community of over 330,000 alumni and creating opportunities for alumni to support each other and collegiate Cambridge through philanthropy, volunteering and advocacy. She oversees a team managing the international programme of events, online and hardcopy communications, Alumni Advisory Board, and over 150 volunteer led alumni groups.

Before joining Cambridge in 2022 she spent 10 years at the University of Oxford, primarily as Deputy Director of Alumni Relations, where she spearheaded the change in strategy to a targeted data led programme of activities and communications, which increased active alumni engagement by over 600%. Previous roles include setting up the first alumni engagement programme for the UK’s National Film and Television School.
