Dr David Williamson is a Post Doctoral Research Associate at the Cavendish Laboratory, Department of Physics, University of Cambridge. David joined the PCS Group in 2002 under the supervision of Professor Field and received his PhD in 2006. David has spent the majority of his time at the Cavendish Laboratory conducting experiments to understand the thermo-mechanical response of energetic composite materials with a particular emphasis on rate effects, and the evolution of mechanical damage.
