Director of Development for CAMFED

Emily Zemke joined CAMFED International in September 2018 to lead the development of its global fundraising strategy.

She has 17 years’ experience working with international, individual, foundation and corporate donors to build partnerships that enable high-impact education programmes. Before joining CAMFED Emily managed the Trusts & Foundations programme at the University of Cambridge, and prior to that spent eight years at Teachers College, Columbia University, building strategic partnerships with the local schools in Harlem. Emily holds a PhD in Education from Warwick University, a postgraduate diploma in newspaper journalism and a BA in English Literature from Cardiff University.
