Ewa Debska is a consultant psychiatrist in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry based at the Darwin Centre for Young People, a specialist adolescent in-patient unit at Ida Darwin Hospital in Cambridge. Ewa's team treats young people with severe and enduring mental illness as well as developmental trauma, neurodevelopmental disorders, dual diagnoses, mood disorders, severe anxiety disorders, phobias and co-morbidities with associated risks.
Ewa's clinical expertise lies in developmental psychiatry. Her specialisms are emotional dysregulation with self harm, behavioral difficulties, neurodevelopmental disorders and severe and enduring mental illness. She specialises in comprehensive child and family centered assessments of mental health as well as neurodevelopmental assessments.
Ewa divided her specialist training in psychiatry between Cambridge where she completed core psychiatry training and South London and Maudsley where she trained in child and adolescent psychiatry. During her training she pursued an additional certification in Cognitive Analytic Therapy and held a position as honorary lecturer in medical education at King’s College London School of Medicine. She obtained her medical degree in Medical University of Silesia in Poland in 2011.
