Dr Geoff Smith is the Director of Specto Natura, a company that aims to deliver useful, accurate and reliable environmental information from Earth Observation. Dr Smith has been involved in remote sensing for almost 30 years and has worked in academic, government and commercial environments. This work has included blue-skies research and the management of operational programmes at the national level.

He is now heavily involved in the European Copernicus Programme with a particular focus on land applications, and is working with Dr Iris Möller on the FAST project.
