Jackie is the Social Mobility Commission’s Deputy Director of Evidence and Analysis. She leads a team to monitor the state of social mobility in the UK, and develops and delivers the Commission’s research program on early years, education, labour market outcomes, and the economy. She previously worked as an academic at the MRC Cognition and Brain Sciences Unit at the University of Cambridge. Her work aimed to improve outcomes for children with learning difficulties. She also has experience in the charitable sector working with the Autism Alliance of Canada to develop accessibility policies and advocate for a national autism strategy. Jackie is originally from Montreal, and holds a PhD in Neuroscience from McGill University.
