Royal Academy of Engineering (RAEng) Chair in Emerging Technologies

Professor Driscoll is Royal Academy of Engineering (RAEng) Chair in Emerging Technologies, and Visiting Staff member at Los Alamos National lab. Her group’s research involves the nanoscale design and tuning of functional oxide thin films for energy efficient electronic applications for wide ranging applications from energy conversion to transmission to storage. Her RAEng Chair is focused on advanced non-voltatile memory materials and neuromorphic computing. She leads a large thin film deposition (including state-of-art pulsed laser deposition and in-situ XPS, oxide sputtering, atmospheric atomic layer deposition, and chemical vapour deposition).
