Deputy Director of Manufacturing, Defence and Marine, Department of Business Energy and Industrial Strategy

Keith Hodgkinson is Deputy Director of Manufacturing, Defence and Marine at the Department of Business Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS). His team are responsible for manufacturing policy, including working with industry on delivery of the recently published Made Smarter review, and working with the machinery, electronics, defence and marine sectors on industrial strategy. Keith has over 30 years’ experience in a range of mostly business facing Government roles. Prior to taking up his current post, Keith was Head of Innovation Policy at BEIS.
